Financial aid money received must only be used for educational expenses related to your program of study at bbin信誉网站. In addition, qualifying students must:
- Be enrolled in an eligible program leading to a degree or certificate at bbin信誉网站.
- Not be receiving federal or state 金融援助 from another college or university.
- Make satisfactory academic progress in your course of study as defined by the bbin信誉网站 金融援助 学业进步政策.

Financial aid eligibility can be viewed on myBlackHawk under Student > 金融援助:
- 奖提供 – After student receives award email notification from the 金融援助 Office, displays eligibility for full-time enrollment (12 credit hours/semester).
- 指控 & 学期资助 – Based on student’s actual enrollment – displays actual charges, 金融援助, 和 anticipated balance information. Please allow 24 hours for enrollment changes to update 金融援助 awards.

支付经济援助
奖助金 和 scholarships will credit your student billing account after the 10th day enrollment; federal student loans will credit after the 30th 入学日. To avoid issues with 金融援助 eligibility, students are encouraged to finalize their course schedule before the first 入学日.
- Classes dropped before your 10th 入学日 will not be eligible for federal 金融援助.
- Classes added after your 10th 入学日 will not be eligible for federal 金融援助.
If you will change your course schedule after enrollment has begun, please contact the 金融援助 Office first to determine if your eligibility will be impacted.
Beyond tuition 和 fees, other eligible charges will also be paid by 金融援助. These charges may include, but are not limited to: bookstore charges, 停车费, 图书馆的费用, 等.
Financial aid is paid to students in regular class attendance. If you register for classes 和 later decide that you will no longer attend, you are responsible for completing an Student Registration Form (PDF) 来自注册服务. If you are dropped for never attending a class, or dropped for ceasing attendance, you may be responsible for repaying a portion of your 金融援助.
退款信息
After 金融援助 credits your student billing account 和 eligible charges are paid, you may have excess or “leftover” 金融援助 funds. These funds will be issued as a refund to the student by the Bursar’s Office within 14 days after a credit balance is created.
If you anticipate receiving a 金融援助 refund, make sure to set up your 退款的偏好 和 contact the Bursar’s Office with any questions!

Prior to being issued your refund, you can also use leftover 金融援助 to buy your books 和 supplies in the 六氯书店. Purchasing dates are limited 和 announced by the bookstore each semester.
